To kick off Dyslexia Awareness Month and Mark it Read 2022, we invite elementary school classes from across Canada to join us for this fun and informative virtual 30 minute session. Students will have the opportunity to learn a little bit about what dyslexia is, hear from Canadian students about their experiences with dyslexia, and meet a very special guest.
Classes that register for this event before September 15th will receive a package of goodies full of stickers and bookmarks. All classes that register will also be entered into a draw to win a classroom pizza party and some new books for their school library.
Polar Pursuit is a virtual interactive game, hosted by Dyslexia Canada, where you will compete against others to complete various missions, challenges and scavenger hunts in order to win some amazing prizes!
International Dyslexia Association Ontario and Dyslexia Canada are kicking off Dyslexia Awareness Month with a virtual launch party. Classes across Canada are invited to join us to learn more about dyslexia in a fun and friendly way, hear from some amazing dyslexic students about how dyslexia has impacted them and meet Dyslexia Canada Ambassador, Taylor Reid, Professional Triathlete and Ironman Champion. You will also learn how your class can get involved throughout the month.
