Dyslexia Canada and Chartered Professional Accountants of BC are hosting a free virtual CPA financial literacy session for parents and caregivers with children who have a learning difference on how to address money-related topics, as well as tips to raise financially independent children.
This session will cover goals and challenges of raising money smart kids, with information that’s relevant for young children through to young adults. It will also address the evolution of financial decisions throughout childhood, as well as tips on allowance, budgeting, credit cards, cell phones, and virtual spending. And it will include tips and resources designed to help children with dyslexia and other learning differences to learn about financial literacy.

Robert Kell, CPA, CA is a semi-retired professional accountant providing accounting, payroll, tax, and business advice to privately owned businesses and not for profit entities. Past author and seminar leader of the Compilation Engagements course for the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia. Robert draws his experience from working in public practice and industry in a variety of senior roles.
Audience: This webinar is intended for adults, individuals, and caregivers with children who have a learning difference. This session is NOT intended for CPAs and does not qualify for CPD.
