Honouring Allison Aitken and celebrating students with dyslexia, their families, and the educators who help them thrive
Join us during Dyslexia Awareness Month for a special evening celebrating educational excellence and the people who make a difference in the lives of students with dyslexia.
We will honour Allison Aitken, recipient of Dyslexia Canada’s Educational Excellence Award, recognizing her outstanding commitment to students with dyslexia. We will also celebrate the achievements of a remarkable young person with the presentation of a Dyslexia Canada Student Achievement Award.
The evening will include a short, family-friendly presentation about literacy development and dyslexia, followed by a panel discussion with students and parents sharing their experiences. We will finish the evening by celebrating our award recipients.
